Pigtronix PHI Echolution Tap Tempo Analog Delay with Modulation Feature

  • Dual mode delay with tap tempo and modulation
  • Up to 6 virtual tape heads for rhythmic echo patterns
  • Analog filtering for warm, lush repeats
Echolution is the world’s finest delay pedal. A hybrid of analog and digital technology, Echolution’s ethereal tape echo sound can be manipulated by a creative arsenal of features as Pigtronix Echolution drenches your tone in analog goodness with a world class pre-amp driving a pair of proprietary analog tape emulation filters, a hi-cut stage and stereo outputs. The echoes are further massaged by chorus and tremolo modulation. Independent Tap Tempo and Modulation modes allow you to switch between different sounds on the fly, with a maximum delay time of 12 seconds. A newly updated precision tap tempo algorithm matches the beat with only two stomps while the expression pedal jack allows for external adjustment of delay time. The Modulation Delay operates over three distinct time ranges, providing easy access to a huge array of delay-based effects. The short setting (10ms-120ms) provides stereo chorus, reverb and slap-back sounds. The medium setting (100ms-1.2sec) covers classic BBD and tape echo territory with lush modulation and rich dub tone. The long setting (1sec- 12sec) allows for epic sound on sound jams, sampling, reverse playback and rhythmic multi-tap patterns. The Multi-Tap toggle switches introduce any combination of five additional echoes at musical fractions of the master delay time. This is like having up to 6 delay pedals in a parallel! The fractions are be based on quarter note and triplet subdivisions or can be aligned to the Golden Ratio. The Golden Ratio (PHI) is a naturally occurring spiral rhythm that is found throughout the universe. PHI is observed in the shapes of galaxies, DNA and in the work of many great musicians. Echolution is more than a pedal, it is an electronic instrument that will expand your mind and your music.

Echo MiaMIDI Digital PCI Audio Interface Feature

  • 24 bit data resolution maintained
  • Multiple sampling rates supported
  • S/PDIF
  • On-board 24-bit Motorola DSP
  • Bus mastering PCI host interface
If you're serious about digital audio, you shouldn't settle for anything less than a truly professional audio interface.... and now with MiaMIDI you don't have to. MiaMIDI offers a pair of balanced 1/4 inch analog inputs and outputs and operates at the +4dBu levels used by pro-audio gear. It combines this with 24-bit/96kHz converters and 106 dB of dynamic range for the quality your recordings deserve. Also included is an S/PDIF digital audio interface for connecting to other digital audio equipment, and MIDI input/output jacks on a custom molded cable. A unique feature of MiaMIDI is the use of "virtual" outputs. MiaMIDI appears to software as if it has eight separate outputs, which are digitally mixed down to the physical outputs using MiaMIDI's "console" software and its on-board DSP. This makes MiaMIDI compatible with all popular multi-track software. And, with Echo's "multi-client" drivers, more than one application (such as an editor and software synth) can be playing back through MiaMIDI at the same time. Please note that the MIDI functions of MiaMIDI only work under Windows ME/2000/XP(WDM) and Mac OS X. Hardware Features: 2 balanced ¼" analog inputs with 106dB (A-weighted) dynamic range 2 balanced ¼" analog outputs with 106dB (A-weighted) dynamic range MIDI in/out 24 bit coaxial S/PDIF digital I/O Supports full duplex 4 channel in, 4 channel out operation PCI bus mastering interface: works with PCI-X (3.3/5 volt) & Power Mac G5 ...

  • Peak and signal present LED and 3-band EQ with swept Mid band on mono inputs.
  • Includes 2 stereo input channels along with a 2-track record output and a 2-track replay input.
Soundcraft's MFXi mixers are compact and ideally equipped for live sound applications including fixed installations, houses of worship and portable PA. The MFXi8 has 8 mono inputs. MFXi mixers are empowered by built-in 24-bit Lexicon processing, delivering 32 stunning reverb, delay and chorus effects (see opening page). All MFXi mixers include 2 stereo input channels along with a 2-track record output and a 2-track replay input which allows interval music to be easily played from CD, MP3 or other music source. For increased versatility, each model in the MFXi range has two subgroups as well as a main stereo mix, making control of groups of channels much easier to manage. These are supplemented by 2 Auxiliary busses which can be used for effects sends or to provide a foldback monitor mix for artists. The MFXi consoles use vertically mounted PCBs which are secured with nutted pots for extra strength, stability and easy servicing. Well-spaced controls provide easy access at those critical control moments, enhanced by clear legending which highlights linked or associated functions. Sound quality is assured by Soundcraft’s now-legendary GB30 mic preamp and the use of professional condenser microphones is facilitated by the provision of globally switched +48V phantom power. New circuit designs have improved audio quality, and lowered the overall noise floor of the console and FX sections. An integral universal power supply negates the need for an external power module.

Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 2 In/2 Out USB Recording Audio Interface

Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 2 In/2 Out USB Recording Audio Interface Review

Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 2 In/2 Out USB Recording Audio Interface Feature

  • High Quality Mic Preamps
  • Excellent Digital Performance
  • Rugged Metal Unibody Case
  • Truly Portable Interface
  • Included Software - DAW and Effects
The Scarlett 2i2 is a 2 in/2 out USB recording interface featuring two award-winning Focusrite preamps. Housed in an attractive anodised aluminium unibody chassis, the interface not only sounds fantastic but looks great too. What’s more it’s solid enough to take on the road when you travel. For more than 25 years, Focusrite has designed some of the most popular microphone preamps in the industry. This experience has been used to create the transparent, low-noise and low-distortion preamp found not only in the Scarlett 2i2 but also our flagship Firewire interface, the Liquid Saffire 56. Plenty of available headroom makes it suitable for moving coil, condenser and ribbon microphones regardless of the source. Phantom power is provided for mics that need it. The front panel Neutrik combination input can be used to connect line and instrument level signals as well as microphones. This makes it perfect for recording the output of a synthesizer or stage piano, whilst at the flick of a switch you can cater for the output of an electric or acoustic guitar. Unique halo signal indicators let you know that you've got a good signal level for recording. Red means that your signal is clipping, and that you should reduce the gain. The halo will momentarily turn amber as the level returns to a healthy level, at which point it will turn green. A large monitor dial provides a tactile control for the volume of your speakers, whilst a high quality headphone amp provides a clean yet loud signal to headphones connected to the front panel socket. The direct monitor switch routes audio directly from the inputs to both the headphone and speaker outputs. This allows you to monitor the incoming signal with zero-latency. The included Scarlett Plug-In suite provides effects compatible with all major DAWs; so whether you're using GarageBand, Pro Tools 9, Cubase, Logic or the included Ableton Live Lite, Scarlett 2i2 is the complete package for you to get recording straight away.
